Sample Itinerary
Day 1 — Welcome to the USA
Arrive in the United States and transfer to your host community. Meet your host family and settle into your new home-away-from-home.
Day 2 — American High School Experience
Spend the school day alongside your host student, attending classes and experiencing everyday life at an American high school.
Days 3–4 — Weekend with Host Families
Experience American family life through activities, meals, and time together with your hosts.
Day 5 — Host Community Experience
Enjoy additional time with your host family or participate in activities within the local community.
Day 6 — Old Sturbridge Village
Step back into 19th-century New England at Old Sturbridge Village, exploring historic homes, working farms, water-powered mills, and demonstrations.
Day 7 — Return to School
Spend another day with your American host student, building friendships and experiencing school life.
Day 8 — Cambridge & Boston
Say goodbye to your host families and begin your Boston adventure. Explore Harvard Square and Harvard University before discovering Boston's museums, neighborhoods, historic sites, and Freedom Trail. An evening event such as a Celtics game may be added when available.
Day 9 — Historic Boston
Continue exploring the Freedom Trail, Bunker Hill, Boston Harbor and the North End, with time to experience the city's food, waterfront, and historic neighborhoods.
Day 10 — Continue Your Journey
Depart Boston for the airport or extend your program with an optional tour to New York City or another U.S. destination.

Sample program includes host family accommodations, hotel accommodations in Boston, meals as specified, U.S. ground transportation, scheduled admissions and activities, Hummingbird program coordination, host family placement services, and 24-hour support.
International airfare, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included unless specifically stated.
